Apollo Hospitals Group Company, Apollo Health Street Creates an Industry Landmark

  • Receives USD 7.5 Million International Investment
  • Plans Expansion in India and the US

Following the winning of ‘the single largest order for Medical Business-Process Outsourcing, in the provider segment, into India’ some time back, Apollo Health Street Limited reached yet another milestone with the signing of an agreement with Maxwell Mauritius, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore-headquartered, Temasek Holdings and One Equity Partners, a private equity affiliate of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co to invest USD 7.5 million in the company. This investment is a ratification of the inherent strengths of the company, its growth over the past three-years and speaks for the growing global healthcare opportunity.

With this new investment, Apollo Health Street is expected to expand and strengthen its operations in India, invest in customer-facing capabilities in North America and strive for inorganic growth opportunities.

Upbeat on this development, Dr. Prathap C Reddy, Chairman, Apollo Hospitals Group, “Apollo Hospitals Group has been credited with putting India on the international healthcare map through various pioneering intiatives in the past. Taking this further is Apollo Health Street with its focus on the global IT and ITES services in the healthcare domain. I am pleased that this young venture has already started to attract attention from the international financial community, and the present investment by Temasek Holdings and One Equity Partners into Apollo Health Street is a reaffirmation of the Indian helathcare services opportunity”

“This is a milestone not only for us as a company but the Indian healthcare industry looking at serving the international market as a whole”
