Aetos Security Management Pte Ltd (“Aetos”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings, announced today that it has acquired the security unit of Changi International Airport Services Pte Ltd (“CIAS”) with effect from 5 May 2004. Following the transfer of all existing staff from CIAS Auxiliary Police Force to Aetos, the company now has staff strength of approximately 1,200.

“With the successful transition and seamless integration of the three security units of PSA Corporation Ltd, Singapore Technologies Kinetics Ltd and CIAS into Aetos, our primary focus now is to provide armed guard security services to key and strategic installations such as our airport and port. Supported by a team of highly-trained and disciplined professionals and leveraging on a wide array of technology-enabled security and surveillance systems, Aetos aims to be a premier security organisation that provides high-level and cost effective integrated security services,” commented Mr Andrew Tan, General Manager of Aetos.
